Christian Reinhardt
H. Christian Reinhardt holds a Lichtenberg Professorship for Clinical and Molecular Oncology at the University of Cologne, Germany. He is the scientific director of a clinical research unit that focuses on targeting defective DNA repair pathways in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. His laboratory uses mouse models of human neoplastic diseases to uncover molecular liabilities that are associated with cancer cell-specific defects in the DNA damage response. A specific emphasis of his work is placed on exploiting cancer-specific defects in the DNA damage response for targeted cancer therapy.
In the clinic, Christian Reinhardt sees patients with leukemias and lymphomas, as well as solid tumors.
